The McHardy is a dressage legal (FEI, EA) snaffle or bradoon that offers a tongue relief shape with an added roller. The joint provides movement which breaks up the horse from setting or grabbing the bit. Matches up lovely with a Bombers Weymouth Happy Tongue Straight Swivel . This Weymouth has flat shanks, therefore the shanks are do not swivel, yet the mouthpiece swivels. This is useful for the horse who wants to lean on the bit and take over. The swiveling mouthpiece disengages the horse from setting on the bits. This is a mildly stronger set and recommended for a developed combination with a steady hand.
