    The Williams cheekpiece allows for multiple rein positions. If connected to the main ring the bit acts as a loose ring, but when connected to the bottom ring it promotes pole flexion by creating more positive poll pressure. The Williams cheekpiece helps to prevent drifting.

    The Mullen is a strong bit which creates direct pressure on the tongue. Used for a strong older horse and will also bring the head down.

    The material used allows the bit to remain light and it encourages salivation. It is particularly well suited to horses that object to metal mouth pieces.

    Does not come with bit guards. Recommend adding bit guards as this mouthpiece style can pinch the lips

    This bit really helped my pony, especially when jumping as i had that extra control on the bottom ring if needed. She found the flexible mouth piece super comfortable so she could focus on the jump. When i switched her over to the Flexible mullen, there was an instant change in the way she rode to the jump, much more supple and not throwing her head. Such an awesome bit!

    I love this bit for a sensitive, yet excitable horse. My young horse can be easily offended but gets strong on Cross Country. This bit is soft enough to not cause offence but strong enough to maintain control. I love the Williams cheek pieces for that extra lateral control when things don’t always go right on XC. I like the 14mm size as it sits smaller in his mouth aswell. It is my go to bits for those tricky horses.
