So the two bits styles that I foremost see the most issues with contact are:
Verbindend
This style looks great online. It’s a 3-piece gold bit with a great product description narrative. But there is a lot of jaw squeeze and I’ve seen a lot of calcification in my past experience. If you still need lift, try a curved single joint bit instead
Tranz Angled
The shape is very direct and precise. Most horses initially feel good, responsive but after a while the horse starts to lock through the TMJ and become tense over the back.
